厦门大学数字媒体计算研究中心成立于2009年6月，致力于解决国家、社会在数字媒体产业上的重大需求。研究中心的研究方向包括数据分析理论与方法、社交型机器人操作系统、2D生成3D、机器人视觉感知、语言问答、情境认知、多模态交互、自适应运动决策控制、设计与美学评估以及影视制作智能技术，开展基础性、前沿性、关键性和交叉性的研究工作，加强对外学术技术交流，促进与国际知名科研机构的合作，搭建开放式、综合性、国际化的科研平台。目前理论研究聚焦于数据分析理论与算法，产业落地方向为：社交型机器人与影视制作智能技术。研究中心现有13名教师（其中教授5名，副教授5名，业界专家2名，工程师1名）、13名博士研究生和84名硕士研究生。现有硬件设备1033.8万元。2023年争取到的研究资源与签约项目合同金额2512.97万元，2023年度到账金额2072.116515万元。近年来主持与参与的国家级项目总数31项，主持与参与的省部级与横向项目总数252；一作或通讯作者发表的论文总数583篇， 完成著作15本；授权发明专利74项，在受理发明专利88项；获2020年钱伟长中文信息处理科学技术奖—汉王青年创新奖、2020福建省杰出青年基金资助、2019、2020年腾讯犀牛鸟精英人才培养计划优秀导师奖、2020福建省自然科学优秀学术论文三等奖，获国家行业协会科技进步一等奖一项、三等奖一项，省科技进步二等奖一项、三等奖一项。
The Center for Digital Media Computation of Xiamen University was established in June 2009, and is dedicated to addressing the major needs of the state and society in the digital media industry.
