报告摘要：In the age of Industry 4.0, the proliferation of data generated from various sources brings about new opportunities. However, the industry is still limited in extracting knowledge from large, high-dimensional, and heterogeneous data and converting it into meaningful and actionable insights. This is further complicated in some highly specialized domains where only a limited number of analysts are knowledgeable enough to interpret the data. In this talk, I will introduce my work about data analysis and visualization techniques to explore underlying knowledge, fact, or pattern from large text, tabular or ontological data, present such knowledge from natural language statements with automatically generated infographics, and utilize it to facilitate practical applications such as machine learning model validation.

讲者简介：张晓雨，本科毕业于厦门大学，获数字媒体艺术学士学位和广告学双学位，硕士毕业于浙江大学，获计算机科学与技术硕士学位。现博士就读于加州大学戴维斯分校，主要研究方向为可视分析、数据可视化和人机交互，发表CCF-A类4篇、CCF-C类1篇，获IEEE VIS 2022最佳论文提名奖、UC Davis计算机系“2022年度最佳研究员奖”等。实习经历包括Meta、微软亚洲研究院、博世北美研究院、网易游戏等。
